I’m not going to lie, running a small family business can be really hard - there have been tears and a lot of frustration at times!
Ian and I have worked so hard over the past few years to increase awareness of our product from our remote location in Snowdonia, Wales.
But we are absolutely delighted to announce that we have been awarded Maker & Creator of the Year 2025 at the prestigious Great British Entrepreneur Awards. This national recognition celebrates the most inspiring, innovative, and impactful businesses across the UK—making the win an extraordinary milestone for our small creative business in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.
The Maker & Creator category honours entrepreneurs who craft unique products with originality, and exceptional attention to detail. For Showerscape, this award highlights the creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication that goes into every one of our custom printed shower panels.
Winning Maker & Creator of the Year is an absolute honour! When we started Showerscape in 2014, our goal was simple: to bring art and the Great Outdoors into everyday spaces within homes across the UK. This award recognises not only how hard both Ian and I have worked, but also what is at the heart of our business - making and creating a great product for all of our customers.
Showerscape combines high-quality materials with bespoke artwork to create immersive shower spaces that become the focal point of the home. Our commitment to originality, sustainability, and storytelling helps set us apart in one of the most competitive awards in the UK.
This achievement marks a significant step forward for Showerscape as our small business continues to work directly with our customers and other small businesses to offer a great product and the best service we possibly can going forward.
