Full design service

We pride ourselves on offering a genuinely personal design service to guide you through the process of creating shower panels made and designed just for your bathroom. We can advise on images, the technical requirements for files size and resolution. We can retouch, alter or even create images in Photoshop or vector to the highest standard.

We provide visuals to show you how your image will crop or fit within the panels you require – taking into account cuts and corners for sloping ceilings and room-specific details.

CHOOSING your image

Using your own image/photos
If you've got a great image of your own that you've taken yourself, we'll need to take a look at the file to make sure it's suitable to give you the quality result you'd like. Camera phones, tablets and even compact cameras all take great shots, but they're not always suitable for enlarging to the size of a wall. Get in touch to check suitability.

We have also worked with clients who have asked to commission or licence artwork, illustrations, patterns or photos from particular artists – we can help you with that too.

Choosing 'stock' imagery
There are literally millions of great images available to purchase from online stock image libraries.  If you have a place, idea or theme in mind we recommend Shutterstock.com or iStockphoto.com. If you send us a link or low resolution thumbnails, we can download and licence the high-res files for you.

We've got a lot of experience of what works well, and a great eye for images, so we could search and suggest a few for you after a chat about your ideas. If you'd like us to add words or graphics to an image that's fine too. We'll work with you to get the result you're after. 

Panel layouts and options

Every bathroom layout is different, as well as sloping ceilings, shower trays, over baths or wet rooms… that’s why many of our customers choose our custom options, to get the fit and image to work just right in the space. We provide custom sized panels to fit almost any space, but here are a few common layouts that we can seamlessly wrap images around.

NICHE insets

We can also create options such as in-set ‘niche' recessed shelves within the shower to pop all your products in. We can set up matched panels to clad the inside faces of the niche to seamlessly wrap the image within, for a neat and continuous feel. See an example niche installation.

Basin splash-backs

Many of our customers like the idea of having a matching splash-back around a basin or vanity unit – why have tiles when you can have a beautiful image and easy clean surface!

We can supply these at the same time as ordering our shower panels, and can be configured to your exact size, or wrapping around multiple sides… just let us know your ideas.

Swimming pool feature walls

Our panels are well suited to cladding around swimming pools or hot tub areas, for the same reasons as cladding in a shower area – they create a beautiful focus in the space and are superbly practical and durable. Multiple panels can be butted up together to create long feature wall images - please get in touch to discuss your ideas.

PRICING

The following are guide prices for typical panel sizes for many standard shower trays and enclosures – but we can create tailor your panels to your requirements. The prices are per panel – so if you need one, two or three wall panels to surface your shower wall or above your bath, you can quickly work out a rough total price. If you send us a list or measurement sketch of panels you require, we can send you a tailored quote. Every Custom order is costed to the area you need – no need to order larger panels to cut down to size here : )

CUSTOM DESIGN SET-UP

We will work with you to discuss your ideas, from image selection/creation through to approving final design artwork. Our custom design fee is up to £100 per order (in addition to the panel costs below) - this usually includes any stock image licensing fee (photographers or artists own licence fees or Rights Managed imagery can be more). Please call us to discuss your requirements so we can give you an accurate cost.

We cost our custom panels to the exact area you require, but as a guide:
Image/graphic of your choice direct printed to 3mm aluminium composite panel.
Typical panel cost - per panel:
2400 x 800mm     £512.00
2400 x 1200mm   £688.00
2400 x 1600mm   £837.00

We can print panels in a single piece up to a maximum of 2.0 x 3.0m – some of the largest available anywhere. Although please take care to ensure the panels can be carried through the house, stairs or doorways before ordering very wide/tall panels! Panels can be butted up together to fit wider walls (and the join can often be hidden behind shower glazing channels). We can also produce a ‘T’ strip to cover butt-joints – printed and coated with a section of the image to match, minimising the visibility of a join.
