Here we answer some common questions about our Showerscape shower panels…

  • Yes you can use our panels on your ceiling. The material is slim and lighter than most other products on the market, and it’s completely waterproof. The adhesive we recommend to apply your panels is a strong grab adhesive so will be good to hold it to the ceiling until completely dry.

    We would not recommend using our panels on the floor.

  • Yes you absolutely can. This is exactly how we recommend you fit your shower panels. Fit, secure, level and seal your bath or shower tray and then fit your shower panels down on to the edge of the shower tray or bath. Contact us to request our fitting guide for more information.

  • We recommend you use a flexible bonding adhesive to adhere your panels to the wall. We do not supply this to you as it is so easily available from any good DIY store such as Screwfix or B&Q etc. We recommend some brands in our fitting guide which can be provided in PDF format if you request this by email and you will also have one with your panels upon delivery.

  • Compared to others on the market, Showerscape shower panels are a durable yet slimline option. Their weight is approx 6kg per sq/m, a single 1000x2400mm panel would weigh around 13.5kg.

  • Our shower panels are a slim 3mm thickness. The aluminium composite material is strong and robust for it’s purpose, and you can always order a sample to see the quality of our panels prior to order. Order a shower panel sample here

  • Yes you can. Many customers have a feature wall or shower area using our shower panels and pair them with other alternatives for the rest of the room. You will need to consider the thickness of any other shower panels or tiles, to ensure you get a nice finish, but we can advise and help you with that so please get in touch if you need any further advice or recommendations.

  • Yes, of course you can. Our shower panels can be cut to any size and we can also produce colour-matched plain or textured panels for the rest of the room as required. It’s best to get in touch with us so we can help you plan the panels in the most economical and practical way.

  • Yes you can – our shower panels are easy to drill, trim and add fixtures to, just be sure you measure accurately and are happy to have it attached permanently to your lovely new shower panels. Otherwise, there are lots of removable options on the market to choose from. As our panels are a smooth surface they are easy to attach suction caddies to as a storage option within the shower area and are also then easy to remove and keep clean.

  • Yes you can. Showerscape shower panels are produced from an aluminium composite material which is easy to trim, cut and drill to fit your space exactly. The panels will not crack or shatter when trimming so they are easy to work with for you as a home DIYer or for your plumber or tradesman.   • We specialise in custom sized shower panels. The largest panel we can produce and deliver is 2000 x 3000mm and so we can accommodate all domestic and most commercial wet room requirements. If you can’t see the size you need on our website we are here to speak with you and help you. All of our shower panels are made to order and so feel free to contact us if you can’t see the size you need on our website.

  • No we don’t have a showroom at the moment. There are lots of example installations in our Gallery page, and you can order a sample to see the shower panel material, print and quality of our hard coating. If you have any further questions please just give us a call.

  • The best place to buy our shower panels is directly through our website. We see the value in speaking with our customers directly, so we can get you the best result possible for your new bathroom, we can also answer any specific questions you may have about our product.

  • Our lead time is 28-35 calendar days from point of ordering to delivery.

  • We do not hold stock of our panels. Showerscape shower panels are custom made to order, so we can get the image right for you for the exact dimensions you have and there is less wastage and lower storage costs. There are several manufacturing processes your panels go through so we can get the end result and this takes time. It does mean you need to plan ahead, but it’s worth it for the perfect end result.

  • Showerscape shower panels are a smooth surface that is easy to clean. No specific, specialist cleaning products are necessary.

    To maintain the Panels in good condition and ensure ongoing performance, the Panels and any visible sealant joints need to be cleaned on a regular basis. For this purpose, a suitable sanitary/bathroom cleaner which is non abrasive and anti-bacterial should be used. Abrasive/cream cleaners are unnecessary and must not be used.


    In order to maintain the product in good condition, regular cleaning may be permitted using suitable household cleaning agents. The Showerscape antimicrobial hard coating gives improved protection against abrasion and chemical attack, but must still be treated carefully.

    Use lukewarm water to rinse and soften dirt/grime.

    A solution of lukewarm water and ordinary household cleaner or mild soap for cleaning.

    A sponge or soft cloth should then be used to gently remove dirt and grime.

    if required, isopropyl alcohol may be used sparingly to remove paint and other such substances.

  • Our Showerscape shower panel 20 year guarantee is applicable to all domestic installations. We offer a 10 year guarantee for commercial installations. The surface and core of the composite material is completely waterproof and is protected with our UV applied hard coating. We guarantee against any material, print, and coating degrading over time.   • Yes you can. Our shower panels can be applied to tiles as long as they are sound and cleaned properly before applying our panels. We recommend you give them a thorough scrub with e.g sugar soap in order to remove all soap residue.

  • Yes. Our custom made shower panels are completely waterproof. They are constructed from an aluminium composite material with a plastic core, giving you peace of mind. Your panels need to be sealed around to protect the wall behind them and to prevent water ingress and leaks. It’s a simple installation process with minimal fittings and trims, giving you a sleek finish.

  • It depends on your installation. You do not need any cumbersome internal corner trims or trims around the shower tray or bath. We supply edge trims available in either silver or black, they are slimline trims to edge any outer visible edges of your panels and so you may need them depending on your situation. We can always advise you if you are unsure.
