Sometimes we do things out of the ordinary, for extraordinary people, and it is one of the most refreshing experiences for us as a small business!

Being contacted by Anthony and Paul from Narrowboat Life Unlocked earlier this year was an interaction exactly the same as our other customers, but I had no idea the impact they would have.

It was such a pleasure for us to provide them with a set of shower panels for their brand new narrowboat, so lovingly crafted by Elton Moss Boatbuilders. The custom bluebell woodland image was exactly what they wanted, it reminded them of happy times with their late dog, Dexter, so it's really special to them.

Narrowboats are obviously small spaces, and the layout and design is fundamental to the way you will live in and use the space. The flow needs to be right, fixtures and fittings need to be carefully placed. Our shower panels bring life to the space, being visible along the length of the boat from the entrance, giving colour and sunlight even on the darkest days.

We viewed the boat at Crick Boat Show 2026 and we were not disappointed - I think it says it all when we found out Dexter's Star WON 'Favourite Boat in Show 2026'. It's an utterly well-deserved title for all involved, and we are so proud to have contributed a tiny part of it.
