Why weight matters in a van conversion

Anyone fitting out a camper van knows the struggle: you want a premium finish, but every kilo counts. Heavy materials eat into your payload, hit fuel economy and make the whole build harder to get right.

Our standard panels are slimline but rigid, which makes them great for flat walls but they’re not always suitable for curves. So for van conversions, we also offer our panels in a super lightweight, flexible alternative material. You get the same high quality print and waterproof coatings as our usual range, but without the weight.

Metro tiles, minus the tiles

This recent van installation features a white metro tile design. The “tiles” are gloss white, while the grey grout lines have a textured finish, so they look and feel remarkably like the real thing. No heavy tiles, no adhesive and grout, no cracking when the van moves.
